Invite a grandparent, relative, or carpool parent by text. They set up their own account and verify their identity, and you can remove them at any time.
Early pickup requests
Ask for an early pickup with the day, time, and reason. The office approves or declines, and you see the answer in the app.
Check in on arrival
In the car line, scan the school’s check-in sign. Walking up, show your pickup pass. Staff know you are there before you reach the door.
Live pickup alerts
A notification when your child is on the way and again when they are picked up, as a push or a text. Today’s activity stays in the app.

Browser-based, no installation
Runs in any modern browser. Google, Microsoft, SAML, or OIDC single sign-on, with role-based permissions you configure per school.

No hardware to purchase or maintain. Staff use existing computers, tablets, and phones; parents use their own phones.
Student and family privacy
- We store the roster your school already has, the dismissal plans and guardians families set, identity verification status, and a record of each dismissal.
- No cameras or license plate reading. Check-in is a QR code a parent scans or shows.
- Family data is never sold or shared with advertisers. Student data is handled as an education record under FERPA.
- Parents see their children, schedules, guardians, and pickup activity in the app.
- Do parents have to use the app?
- No. Office staff can set or change a dismissal plan on behalf of any family, and the release record is identical.
- What if a parent doesn’t have an iPhone?
- The Guardian app is on iOS. Everyone else uses the same account on the web portal from any phone or computer, including scanning the carline sign with their phone camera.
- What happens when a plan changes at the last minute?
- The parent changes today’s plan in the app. Teacher, staff, and office boards update in real time, so everyone knows how that student goes home right up until the guardian arrives and checks in. Early pickups are different: those are requests the office approves.
- How do you know the right adult is picking up?
- Every parent and authorized guardian completes a quick identity verification in the iOS or web app before they can pick up. At dismissal they scan the carline sign or show their pickup pass, and staff see who they are. Anyone without a pass is directed to the office.
- Does this replace our current SIS?
- No. It reads the roster you already maintain, over OneRoster (PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, Synergy, Aeries), Clever, ClassLink, or a scheduled file import.
